THE MILK
Milk from indigenous Gir cows, not crossbreeds. A Gir cow yields a fraction of what a high-yield hybrid produces which is why almost nobody uses it commercially, and why real Gir ghee costs what it costs.

Sage’s Secret started with a straightforward frustration. Ghee is one of the most adulterated foods in this country, and almost every brand answers that with adjectives instead of evidence — pure, authentic, traditional, ancient. Adjectives are free. That’s exactly why nobody believes them any more.
So we built the opposite kind of brand. One where the claim on the front of the jar is backed by a document you can actually open and read.

Sage’s Secret

Sage’s Secret is made to a written specification, in small batches, and every batch is numbered. Nothing is bought on a handshake.
Every batch is tested through NABL-accredited laboratories to ensure quality, purity, and safety. Our products undergo thorough testing in accordance with applicable food safety standards, giving you confidence in every batch.
Never buffalo milk blended into cow ghee. Never colour, flavour or preservative. Never a batch that hasn’t cleared the laboratory we hold the right to reject one, and we use it.
